Seaside Sampler This beautiful Seaside Sampler was inspired by the Mystic Lighthouse in Mystic, CT. Overdyed 28 count linen and Classic Colorworks and DMC fibers combine to make it a charming authentic lighthouse sampler. Wool hydrangeas add dimension and texture. The frame will be painted in class using an old chalk paint technique.
The fun Whale Tail Fob will be stitched and finished in class. You’ll find that the techniques used to make this fob can be used for so many other applications. All pieces including the beads and scissors come with the kit (scissors will match the project but might be a different pattern than pictured). The Crab Pin Keep pattern and supplies are also included in class.
What to bring to class: You’ll want to bring your embroidery scissors and perhaps some extra embroidery needles. The classroom has good lighting, but if you would like to bring your own lighting, please bring along an extenion cord.
